Which test? My ESR has been travelling

downwards. MY CRP fluctuates. I don’t know about the RA factor.

I think responses to LDN are very individual when it comes to dysfunction on the HPA axis - I have Hashimoto's, TPa (thyroid peroxidase antibodies) was measured multiple times well before I began LDN therapy with results ranging from the 200s to near 500.Just prior to starting LDN I had TPa labs done to establish a base line of 450.After six months on LDN it measured at 225. At first, I thought that this drop was due toLDN, but my doctor said antibody levels often fluctuate, so I can't make an honest attribution to LDN of this drop.I'd been led to believe that LDN would precipitate a fast decline in the amount of replacement hormone I would need, but that has not been my experience. I use about50 mcg less per week - not much difference.Did you get base

line labs before you started LDN? If not I don't think you can read much into your normal labs except that you don't have elevated antibodies and probably don't have Hashi's.JackieFrom: marlaprendergast <kws11@...>Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Question about Hashimotos and LDNlow dose naltrexone Date: Monday, June 14, 2010, 5:56 PMIf you are taking LDN, will a test for Hashimoto's disease (the thyroid Peroxidase test) come out normal? The reason I ask is I took this test to see if the cause of my hypothyroidism was Hashimoto's. My number came out to be 16, with the range being 0-34,

indicating I don't have Hashimoto's. But I'm wondering if taking LDN skews the number and maybe I do have it.------------------------------------
