Sorry I missed your first post, Lauri.

Yes, if you know people who benefiting long-term from taking 4.5mg LDN twice a

day who'd like to

contribute their detailed health case studies, then of course we're all

interested. Please email

them to ask if they'd be happy to do that.

In response to your later email... nothing should be taken personally from

recent posts and I'll

explain why...

Anyone can create an identity, join and post in a group.

Many long-term members of this group, myself included, have seen people join the

group with less

than altruistic reasons over these past years... to disrupt, to sell and profit,

to raise their own

profile or push their own agendas... or in other words, someone who is not

necessarily who they say

they are and whose motivation for being here is questionable.

They have come and gone, frequently, but in-between quite a few have made rash

statements, some have

encouraged group members to join them elsewhere, others have harassed members or

stirred the pot

behind the scenes, etc.

It's important for everyone in this group, particularly newcomers, to know that

all long-term group

members have their best interests at heart at all times.

Group members contribute and support newcomers from a position of knowledge and

experience gained

here over many years.

And those group members know from those years of personal experience that

Bihari's protocol works

well for the majority, and has been working well for the majority since the

1980s.

Even so, members still keep an open mind.

To clarify... 'keeping an open mind' is not the same as 'believing everything

that everyone says',

particularly in light of what this group has been subjected to by comings and

goings over the years.

So yes, naturally, they will ask for more information in support of a claim that

differs from that

which they know works well, because not to do so would subject newcomers to

possibly unproven,

confusing, conflicting, or perhaps even dangerous information... because

'someone said so'.

There is nothing personal about that and no-one is targeting you or any other

individual personally.

This group guides and protects newcomers because they were once new to LDN

themselves, without

medical support, trying to find their own way forward, and they know how hard it

was for them.

They have volunteered hundreds of thousands of hours of their time to support

newcomers so others

don't have to go through what they went through.

And that commitment has contributed substantially to the growth in the numbers

of people benefiting

from LDN and who have subsequently gone on to also spread the word about LDN.

That you heard about LDN at all is due in large part to LDN advocates' all over

the world who are

committed to raising LDN awareness and alleviating the suffering of people

they've never met.

It's true that Bihari's protocol doesn't work for every person every time. Every

person is

different.

LDN cannot be considered a stand alone treatment because... while it's true that

some have done

nothing more than take LDN and have benefited, others have not and have had to

modify their

lifestyle or other factors along with taking LDN.

If a person is eating fast food dinners every night they can't expect to achieve

the same level of

outcome from LDN as someone who eats salads every night... and that's just one

possible variable

factor among potentially thousands of variable factors, of which only one would

be the size of their

LDN dose.

That same person could well have a stumbling block when they start LDN.

If you were supporting that new person, a person who has no prior knowledge or

experience of LDN,

you'd probably ask questions to get a better handle on the variables in their

individual

circumstances, and you'd probably encourage them toward a healthier lifestyle

(among other variable

factors), and you'd probably exhaust all those possibilities... long before

experimenting with a

proven dosing regimen.

Why?

Because it's more likely one or more of those variable factors is the stumbling

block, the reason

why LDN is not working as well for them as it is for others.

I hope this clears the air about why questions are posed here.

They are just questions. No fingers are/were being pointed, and there are no

hanging judges here :-)

Just a group of people doing their best to help others, as safely as possible.

All my best,

Cris
