Guest guest
Hi Jackie, It would be helpful if you could clarify this statement for the group... ' ... for some twice a day dosing has been found more effective than once a day dosing. ... ' How many are taking LDN twice a day... what dose are they taking... what are they taking LDN for... and what benefits/outcomes are they experiencing? " The above statement is not necessarily true - it may very well be true for you Jaxi, but as a blanket statement it fails. There is such broad variety among individuals and for some twice a day dosing has been found more effective than once a day dosing. Continuous blockade would require more naltrexone than two doses of 4.5 mg. High dose naltrexone is 50 mg and more. If 4.5 mg provides a 4 to 6 hour blockade you can easily see it would require 4 to 6 doses of 4.5 mg spaced evenly throughout the day, possibly, to achieve a 24 hour blockade. As science continues to explore how LDN works in the human body, new discoveries are made and what we thought was true last year we learn is often no longer true. Science is neither absolutist nor static - I would expect that those of us using LDN would be excited and interested in what is newly learned about LDN. Guest guest
Cris,I really think if people in the group want clarification of any of the science or the clinical experiences regarding LDN/OGF and undertaken by Moshe Rogosnitzky and/or Ian Zagon, people should ask these two men themselves. I'm sure their questions will be gladly answered and any follow up questions that arise as well.In fact, if you have any questions about LDN/OGF you can ask them on the LDN Science site or you can contact Dr. Zagon directly by email or phone. There is a great deal of information available to people curious about LDN/OGF.Many people are unaware that Dr. Zagon and Moshe Rogonitzky have been offering personalized cancer therapies for a long time to very satisfied and grateful people. Moshe will send you case studies if you ask - in the main the cases are cancer. I am sure, in light of your own interests in patient outcomes and evidence, you would find their clinical experiences of great interest too.Incidentally, Dr. Zagon will send you any research papers you request. Guest guest
Hi Jackie, A curious response to a straight-forward question... All my best, Cris Date: Fri, 11 Jun 2010 15:36:48 -0700 (PDT) From: carcinoidwarrior <carcinoidwarrior@...> Subject: Re: low dose naltrexone Re: Digest Number 6211 Case HealthCris Kerr <casehealth@...> As I said Cris, the information you seek would be best given you by those who reported it in the first place. I assure you, any and all questions you have will be thoroughly answered by Dr. Zagon and Moshe Rogonitzky. I do think it is best when we have questions we do our own investigation. If you peruse any of the sites I have given you (now two or three times) you will discover for yourself much information you have apparently overlooked, else you would already be talking to the people I have suggested you ask. I do think a true interest on your part would be reflected by a concomitant pursuit of more information from its source. I am sure I will not have to suggest again (this is now the third or fourth time) you go to the source of the information Lauri mentioned and I repeated. After all it is clearly stated on the LDN Science website should you ever go there. If you ask me this question again or any like it I will have to assume you are not interested in information about LDN/OGF but rather in harassing me. And I have no interest in such a relationship. You've got something else going on and I am not part of it, nor do I want to be. This is the last post from you I will open until I notice you can demonstrate reasonable gratitude for my having graciously and generously pointed you towards the information you asked for at some considerable investment of my time and energy. Guest guest
Good evening Cris,I noticed that you are interested in knowing about folks who take LDN twice a day. I read that Laurie Goodwin said, "I do have two people that I met on ldn who are actually on 4.5mg twice a day. The information they relied on was found under the Q & A section of ldnscience.org. They are both doing well..."Perhaps you should email Laurie for more information.Hope that helps,Anita On Jun 11, 2010, at 9:41 PM, Cris Kerr, Case Health wrote:' ... for some twice a day dosing has been found more effective than once a day dosing. ...
