you said: Does anyone out there get goosebumps all over? I get streams of

goosebumps starting mostly on my legs and sometimes on my arms. They

just appear out of nowhere, then go away. I get that " hair standing

on end " feeling when they appear, as if I'm cold or scared. All my

hairs stand up on my arms and legs. Then they disappear just as

quickly as they came. It is funny in the hot, humid Georgia summer

that I go around with chillbumps! But it is really disconcerting.

Anyone else have the goosebumps?

Meg

Wow, I sure can relate, mine used to appear, I'd feel a bit cold - even in 100

degree weather, they would come and go.

THEN....they came BIG TIME.....huge ones....arms mostly, legs off and on...the

ones on my arms stayed huge for about 2 years....they are finally smaller

although definitely there most of the time. People have commented - they are

that obvious - " are you cold " .....no, I just have goose bumps. I found this had

something to do with the autonomic nervous system and the fact that I need IV

fluids. Because of NMH, POTS......low blood volume, AND dehydration, I've been

on IV fluids twice a week for four years. Started out every day, then three

times a week, now twice a week. It finally helped after about a year, a

definite difference in the goose bump situation, and now only when I'm due for

more hydration and very tired. At least that's what I thought as I was diagnosed

with CFIDS for years....finally found out I have Lyme....perhaps those things

are trying to make an escape???? (sorry, not funny)

You have my sympathy - it's VERY uncomfortable to say the least - " hair standing

on end " feeling, not fun.
