Guest guest
I don't fully understand about the IGg, IGm, etc. but, this has been my experience: I was dxed with Lyme, Babesiosis, and HGE in 9/00. Last year my test results revealed that I had active EBV, CMV, HHV-6 and Parvovirus 19. I had had arthritic pain from the Lyme and some fatigue but it was nothing like the fatigue and weakness I experienced with all the viruses. After about 5 months of being debilitated last year, I found information on the 'net about transfer factors for viruses. With my LLMD's blessing, I tried Immune Care 64 which has transfer factors for EBV, CMV, and HHV-6. Within about 3 weeks I felt much better. I have continued on this and was able to function, work, etc. for about 10 months. Now I seem to have a reactivated virus or a different virus but it is much milder than what I experienced last year. Right now I'm not sure what happened. I have been going to a nutrition clinic and I did recently lose lean weight which has previously been associated with becoming ill. My understanding has been that the Lyme attacked my immune system so badly that I was vulnerable to other diseases. The loss of lean weight lowers immunity so maybe that's what happened recently. I am taking my regular meds, more immune boosters, and picking up the protein. You might have Lyme, EBV, CMV, perhaps other viruses or diseases. I bought the transfer factor products from www.immunitytoday.com and no, I have no financial interests in the company. The products can be expensive but Immune Care 64 was the only thing that helped me. I did try anti-viral med and it seemed to do nothing. I hope you'll feel better soon. Suzanne South central NYS [ ] Lyme, epstein barr, cytomegalovirus Which one? I just got the results from the latest test on epstein barr, and the cytomgalovirus, along with some of the virus like HH6 and HSP. I did recently have a positive western blot for lyme. I have felt so bad for a long time but only in Dec had the western blot. These other tests for EBV, CMV ect I have done about three other times. They are always elevated and when I did them it was from different labs and a year of more in between. How would I know what makes me feel to rotten? Its mostly the all over weakness and flue like feeling and sleepy/spacy. I have my first appt with a LLD in a couple of weeks and I hate to go and then be told its these virus and not the lyme. What has anyone else experienced? On some of these tests my titers will be extremely high but to the IGG and then sometimes they are IGM. The western blot was 10bands in both IGG and IGM but only cdc postive in IGG. Can having elevated IGG tests make you feel bad if it is a past infection but and not active? I don't understand this. Guest guest
Suzanne, Do you think that these virsus made you feel worse than the lyme? I know about transfer factor but not the one you mentioned. I do appreciate you letting me know. I have bougght the one from the buyers club CFIDS. They have different ones and it was hard to know what to get. It seems there is a different one for each virus. I have taken all those herpes meds and they didn't do anything. Do you think these of the lyme would have caused the excessive sleepiness. I think you responded to my question about that. Thanks, Sandy > I don't fully understand about the IGg, IGm, etc. but, this has been my > experience: > > I was dxed with Lyme, Babesiosis, and HGE in 9/00.
