Guest guest
Hi - I met someone over the internet who has fibromyalgia. Recently they had the following lab tests results: elevated ESR, somewhat depressed red, white, and platelet cells, and mild anemia. A further test found elevated kappa antibody count (IgG, I'm assuming). The doctors suspect multiple myeloma. This is a fairly rare disease, so I'm hoping there's something else that commonly overlaps with fibromyalgia, might actually be the problem, although the lab tests do match the early stage of myeloma. Lyme or other tick diseases are associated with some of these abnormal lab tests, but I'm unclear if tick diseases only have specific IgG antibody tests, or whether " elevated kappa antibody " could be raised in tick diseases, and would appreciate any information or suggestions for this person. Thanks - Mark
