Guest guest
*****Ben.....I am terribly sorry to hear this......your website was a great one....it saddens me that some people can't see through the fog and are always picking and kicking folks who are spending hours trying to help others...... I have been involved in the hepatitis communities for over 6 years and still to this day there are those that are so ignorant and self-serving that they can't see the forest for the trees. I got beat up for years because " I didn't have HepC, and why was I doing all these things like a message board, website and posting articles trying to help those with this horrific virus? " Now let me tell you they said some pretty mean things, but that made me more determined to show others that I was there for them and NOT for the dweebs. Jealousy can be viscous and hurtful and in the beginning it kept me upset and stressed. THEN, this ole broad got pished and was I determined to continue to help those that I could. I was NOT going to let these dweebs ruin it for others. I did all this while dealing with several illness myself. They tore the hell out of my hepatitis newsletter, sooooo I deleted their name from the mailing lists......would ban them from the message boards and blocked their email address, so I didn't have to read their rudeness. If their email slipped through, I would delete it before I opened it. Several times I reported it as " spam " .....hehehehehe .... It didn't take long for the dweebs to back off. Yes, I still get some of the rudeness, but I IGNORE it and send them blessings......they really need to be pitied. DO NOT let them run you off......if they don't like what they read or how something looks, then tell them to do their own as you are not interested in their rude opinions....These kind of people are jealous, that they don't have the smarts to do something like this. They have " NO " clue how time consuming it is to give to others from your heart. IGNORE them and continue.....if they continue then delete, ban and ignore their opinions.....this is you and your wife's project for you to do AS YOU PLEASE........ Just remember they are only small peas in the pod and there are others who appreciate what you have done.....this is not to say to not be open for constructive criticism, but ignore the dweebs and their small minds. I hope you will consider opening it back up for those of us who appreciate your efforts, time and hard work. BTW, if you can make a few bucks to off set the costs OR help your family with financial support, THEN GO FOR IT!! As for support from other moderators of groups, please keep in mind that they also have a big job managing their own email groups, so do not depend on their support, DO YOUR OWN THING......I would think that all of them would not mind you posting updates and links to your website. We are NOT in competition here, at least I am not, but we are here to promote education and wellness for an illness that is ignored for the most part. Just remember for every 5 that bitch and whine, there are 10 you help.....if there is something on my message boards that can help others, then for God sakes copy it and use it.....my goal is to spread the word, promote education and to help others...... From the looks of your website and your professionalism, you could certainly write for grants to help your cause by getting a 501 (3)© and leaving those dweebs in your dust......find someone with " grant " writing experience and get some money to " educate the educators " (doctors, etc.,) There is money available for that....several did it in the hepatitis communities..... Please reconsider and think about reopening.... Angel Huggzz or Angel We have opened up new " Message Boards " ......the old site closed down their message boards and here are our new ones....
