Lyme lawyer and IV abx

About a week ago there was a post from someone looking for a lyme lawyer.

It has taken a while for me to be able to respond, b ut I'm wondering if

anyone has ever had any luck with an attorney willing to take their case. I

work for attorney's, but no one in my office does Med Mal. I have been told

several times that I have a case since I was misdiagnosed for 4 1/2 years

with MS. I spoke to an attorney who said " you might have a good case, but

it will be very hard to prove. " This seems to be the case all around. Has

anyone had better luck? As I said before I work for attorneys as a legal

secretary and it is getting harder and harder to do my work. For instancce,

my hands hurt so bad just typing this e-mail. I'm not looking to get rich,

but just to be paid back for all that I have gone through and to help me

afford to keep my house when I have to go out on disability in a couple of

weeks due to treatment. I know I couldn't get money that quick, but would

love to know if anyone has had any luck.

Also, I'm starting IV in about 4 or 5 weeks. The doc says for about 6

months. From what I'm gathering from everyone here - I will not be cured in

6 months - right? Has anyone had 6 months of IV and then felt 100% better.

I'd like to apply for SS disability, but they won't give it to you unless

you'll be sick for 2 years. I'm assuming that I'll be sick FOREVER, but I'm

hopeful that the ABX will at least make it a little more bearable. Is that

right? Any advice is appreciated.

If I dont have a case, bet its hard for anyone else to have one. I went

misdiagnosed for 17 years, saw over 30 Drs, had a silent heart attack and

was inches away from a pacemaker, at 25ish. I was 'diagnosed' with

everything from Lupus to EBV to 'you just want to be sick'. Seems that

misdiagnosing Lyme isnt important, after all, its such an easy treatment and

cure. <<<<<, extreme sarcasm people, we all know its not true *-)

Lyme Aid Owner

==========

I have had lyme for 30yrs., only dx 5yrs ago for lyme/co-infections. I was dx

12 yrs ago w/ MS. I got approved for disablity w/ the MS dx (3yrs ago) , at

the hearing their doc said I didn't have lyme but did have " MS " symptoms.

My atty said I had one of the MS symptoms that was listed in their disablity

book. So, that is how I got disablity. If they want to call it a apple but it

is a orange. Let they do it.

Get a attorney, I got declined the first time. If you have symptoms that are

listed in the book that they go by, and your attorney knows what he is doing,

you should get it.
