Guest guest
> Anyone else had that one? It's driving me nuts. Hi Tim, My skin has been affected tremendously since the very beginning. Hives, dermagraphism, bright scalding red patches, and severe itching. At one point they said I had Lupus, but it was just my Lyme. My dermatologist has given me some temporary help, but just to treat the symptoms not the cause. When I herx, it gets a lot worse. On my good days, it is barely noticable. I have had this going on for almost two years and I guess you can say I am starting to get use to it. Good luck with yours... it is no fun. It's driving me nuts. If the itching is due to Lyme bacteria it is close to the skin surface. This problem can be eliminated if you place a heating pad against the spots that are itching and keep it there for a period of one hour or more. This procedure may have to be followed up from time to time until the bacteria and Lyme eggs or destroyed. Lyme bacteria reproduces ever 21 days. Guest guest
My daughter had a lot of migratory itching from a drug called Elivil, which was prescribed for a Lyme sleep disorder. I have gotten migratory itching from a couple of antidepressants, specifically Zoloft and Paxil and an anti-inflammatory drug called Anexia. I stay away from as many drugs as possible these days. Are you on any meds like this? Perhaps you have the same problem. Sue

I'm on Zoloft and lowering the dose gradually and weening myself off it. I don't need it.
