The photo also looks like the mucosal cells reacting to an infestation, like you mentioned, where the immune system is obviously struggling to defend the 'host' from it on its own. In looking at it, I was like, yeah, candida. Also, McCarthy's son is only on a wheat and gluten free diet, I believe, which means he's most likely still consuming a very high carb diet, even if it is devoid of sugar as well. This ultimately will lead to problems in the future because the focus isn't on feeding on a highly nutritious diet (like Bee promotes) that is based on animal products and high in saturated fats, etc., but on simply removing certain troublemakers. I'm not quite at the point where I can help others learn of the candida beast; I'm still needing to focus a lot of time just on myself right now.
