I agree with on letting your doctor know. It can be dangerous

going cold turkey without your meds. The burning you have is neouropathy.

I have it and it kicked in on me during last night. It can effect anywhere

in your body as today I had it in arms, legs and feet. At times I get

a feeling like there is pins and needles in that area too. I take

Neorontin for it and for fibro. I know why it acted up on me in middle of

night was I forgot to get up in middle of night and take the neorontin. I wound

Up going a little over 16 hours without it. As soon as I took it within a couple hours or less the pain stopped. Also the stuff you talked about that you use I have used it too for arthritis. It works great.

Hugs,

Rosie

-- burning hands and feet

Hi ,I might have a solution for the burning feelings you have. My feet feel like they have blisters all over them. I just found that a gel which contains capsaisin actually takes away the burning pain. It's a miracle. I bought it at the drugstore on sale. The one I got was Synovium. It was 4 oz for $9. I would recommend applying it with gloves as it is difficult to wash all of the capsaisin the hands. Capsaisin is made from very hot pepper. It's natural and you don't want to touch your eyes. Also, please make sure your doctor knows you are not taking your meds. Withdrawal from your meds could be hard on your organs (like your heart). Please take good care of yourself.
