Guest guest Posted February 1, 2005 Report Share Posted February 1, 2005 HI, When I first started Zithromax many years ago for lyme, the acne was awful...........it took months to clear up, I used Cleocin in the dabber bottle..but when it cleared up, it was gone for good. Others I knew had the same reaction. I think the Zithromax just cleared up all the " crap " that may have been there under my skin, but I didn't know it. It was great when it finally finished. Dont know if its Lyme related for sure, but its a B**** to treat. Acne or sensitive skin stuff breaks me out more, helps at first, but then wham, which makes me want to use more so I get more acne etc etc. Best thing I have done is gone to using Noxema face wash and then a really good moisturizer ( I use Prai Spa stuff, think its sold at shopathometv.com now ) I also wash my pillowcase every few days and I ONLY use that when I nap or lay down ( which we Lymies do, a lot) its just a royal pain, havent found the magic potion yet......
