Hi Mariel-

I am so sorry for your loss. I wish you well through a very difficult time. I

will surely check out the web page you posted. It is very nice for you to do

something like that and pay homage to him.

Take Care of yourself as well :-)

Hi Mariel,

So very sorry to hear of your loss. I can also understand your brother's

feelings. When people look at 'you' and cannot see blood flowing, bones

sticking out or large areas bandaged they have no way to develop true

empathy. I am fortunate to have a wife who has trigeminal neuralgia

(_extremely_ painful) and has been through a lot of doctors to try and

get treatment. I have not yet found out if I have LD, but have been

diagnosed with degenerative disk disease for about 12 years officially

(started about 20 years ago.) That pain was bad enough, but now

(following a tick bite that won't heal) my pain has gone up horribly.

The doctors just cannot wrap their brain around the idea that I could

have LD. After all, it isn't officially known/recognized here. (What a

laugh,) So it gets so frustrating, as a few doctors have found out when

I spoke my mind to a few of them. (felt good by the way.)

Please accept our condolences for your loss. I do not know your

religious belief, but I am very sure God know all about your loss, since

he even keeps track of the sparrows.

Dear Mariel,

Thank you for sharing your story about your brother with us at this

difficult time.

My heart goes out to you and your family. It is a tragedy.

Many of us on this list understand from our own experience how Lyme Disease

and co-infections can effect untoward mental functioning. And many of us

have been fortunate enough to arrest the symptoms before they became

life-threatening.

I am so sorry for the loss of your brother while both of you were still

young.

Many blessings to you at this time. And may you find peace and comfort.

Mariel,

I extend my sympathy to you and your family. My heart goes out to

you. Your brother was so young. I can understand his plight. Lyme is

so difficult. It does take its toll. I think all of here and attest

to that. The depression alone is such a struggle. And many here can

admit to how hard it is to keep up the battle and not let it take us

down.

Thank you for your kind words in keeping up the fight. It means a

lot especially during this time of my own. The struggle lately has

been daunting, overwhelming.

It is wonderful that you have created a site for your brother. I

will visit it.

I am so sorry for you loss.
