Guest guest
Your lymph glands, and tonsils for that matter, are filtering organs. They help rid the body of toxins. When you are successfully killing ketes, your filters get full of toxins and swell. Drinking tons of water will help push them along. Just my thoughts... Guest guest
Lymph nodes help to carry away debree from killed pathogens. The more pathogens that are dying off, the harder it is for the lymph system to keep up. When it becomes overloaded, the lymph nodes will swell, and lymph will kind of get backed up. The fact that your lymph nodes are swelling means that you are successfully killing off pathogens, so it's a good thing, even if it is a little miserable in the process. You can improve lymph flow by drinking lots of water, and movement or massage. Dry brushing can help to move lymph. Whirl pool baths can help move lymph. Lymph flow is pushed through the Lymph system by the action of muscle movement, so rebound exercises are especially good for moving lymph flow. So is jogging, jump rope, jumping jacks, mini-trampolines, stretching exercises, yoga, even just rocking in a rocking chair. (You can overdo exercise and reduce immune function, so keep within your limits) FIR sauna's, or anything that will increase metabolism will also help to move lymph flow, because the fluids that compose Lymph come from the metabolized fluids of cells. Anything that can increase metabolism will increase the fluids in lymph and allow it to flow better. It may also help reduce painful lymph nodes by applying a warm poultice on them and keeping it very warm for 15 to 20 minutes. Just a hot wet washcloth is probably enough. There are homeopathic supplements that can help stimulate lymph flow, and I use one called Lymph Stim. However, it is only available through a licensed practitioner, and I don't know how to tell you where to get it. But there are quite a few places on the Internet that sell homeopathic products to stimulate lymph flow if you look for homeopathic and lymph in a search. lindaj@... Guest guest
My glands also started hurting when I started abx. All my glands, groin, neck and arm. It did subside after about the 4th week. I am only 6 weeks out, so not sure what the future holds. They are still swollen of course, but much less painful. I find a heating pad on the area helps alot. > Sorry to keep asking silly questions........ but - > When i started the ABX my glands in my neck started to really hurt - > worse than they ever have before.
