Guest guest
To follow up on some of the previous posts I have a yeast question. My LLMD said that the problem with the Yeast Infection, as it relates to the Lyme treatement, is that it coat's the entire GI track and prevents the abx's from being fully absorbed in the stomach. My question is does the Yeast Infection start in the stomach and come up to the mouth/tongue or does it start in the mouth/tounge and then go down to the stomach. The reason I'm asking is I'm wondering if having a clear tongue is really a good indicator that the abx's are being fully absorbed by the stomach. Is it possible or likely that you can have a clear tongue but still have the yeast preventing the absorption of the abx in the stomach? Also does anyone know if salt or salt water will kill the yeast on the tongue? I have been taking the acidopholus and other good flora and saw a small improvement on my tongue. I started eating sunflower seeds (in the shell) a couple of nights ago and my tongue is now completely clear. I'm confused as to if it's the good bacteria I'm taking as a supplement or if the salt from the sunflower seeds is clearing the yeast? Any ideas? Thanks and be well.
