Guest guest Posted February 9, 2005 Report Share Posted February 9, 2005 I was wondering if anyone knew if how much a patient weigh's is factored into the abx prescription? The reason is that I'm a big guy weighing in at about 300lbs and my LLMD prescribed 300mg's of doxy after my first visit. From other posts I have seen mostly 200mg's so I was just wondering if my doctor put me on a higher dose based on my size? I'm actually happy that she started me on 300mg, so far I haven't had any stomach problems with the abx so it's been very tolerable. Be well.
