Guest guest
Hi everyone- I have been on Bicillin injection once per week for 17 weeks and very achy and just herx-like in general. My joints are really bad since I did 12 weeks of Rocephin before this treatment. Now my Dr is putting me on 3 weeks of Tinidazole with the Bicillin to break the cysts...and then I will take a few weeks off and, depending on how I'm doing, try again Plaquinil and Biaxin (which gave me my best result in 2+ years of Lyme treatment- though the Plaq makes my hair fall out.) I'm wondering if people here have experience with the Bicillin Tinidazole and what I should expect as far as herxing...is it bad? I am going to take a weekend course at the end of May and I really want to be able to focus...ah, the best laid plans! I know that everyone is different but like to hear what people have experienced anyway. I am also gonna start some multi B , magnesium and Glutathione injections from my immunologist just for the hell of it. Any input is appreciated. Feel good! Guest guest
I also have been taking a bicillin injection once a week. For the past 3 weeks I've been taking Tinzadole in addition to the shots. Initially, I was very drowsy and tired on it (lasted for about a week). Now it looks like my body was adjusted and I seem to feel much better. As far as other side effects, I notice a metallic taste in my mouth which is listed as a known side effect of this drug. The other downer for me is that I like to have a couple beers now and again and this apparently is a no-no on Tinzadole (I was scared away by the " if taken with alcohol may induce heavy vomiting " !) Good luck. Chris
