Guest guest
Sandy, Isn't Missouri, closer than NY. I have a lyme dr in MO who is fabulous. [ ] Need A Brain Spect Scan Hello all...I don't post very often, but do gather tons of wonderful info for my best friend who is a 30+ year LD. We are in Cincinnati, OH area and travel to Dr. B. My friend is in need of a spect scan. The big problem is that the machine at Columbia Presbyterian in NYC is 'down' more than it is 'up'. This past Sunday we flew to NY, saw Dr. B on Monday, went to Columbia Tuesday for a scheduled scan only to find the machine was 'down'...maybe 'up' the next day...we stayed another night...changed plane reservations, etc. and the machine is still 'down'. Since we do not have LD in Ohio, getting a scan anywhere around here would be of no value. We have wonderful hospitals...but remember...we don't have LD around here...so our docs are not familiar with and do not want to learn about LD. Fortunately we have found a doc willing to re-write Dr. B's rx's, which is a HUGE blessing...but we really need the scan. So...my question for all of you...have any of you had a scan at a hospital other than Columbia Presbyterian in NYC? Travel is not a problem...I'll take her anywhere. Thank you for any info you have. Blessings and Hugs
Guest guest
Come on down to sunny Florida, we have them here! Just get a script from your Doc and you can make your own appointment. sbm <fsmfarms@...> wrote:Sandy, Isn't Missouri, closer than NY. I have a lyme dr in MO who is fabulous. Guest guest
Florida...hmmm...I do have relatives in the Tampa area so would not need a hotel. You are in West Palm Beach area? Did you get your disability...or do I have you confused with someone else? Missouri...if it is Dr. C...he does not accept Medicaid patients. Thank you for the replies!
