I am very worryed! my gag relex was slugish and today almost

nonexistent. dont know what to do, also cant sleep cause i feel funny

vibrations in my head and down my back. when i awake they i dont feel

them. anyone feel this way.

at the same time as the above is getting worse my brain is clearing so

i can think so i guess that is a good sign.I am also on 600 of doxy so

maybe it is a die off in those nerves. i sure hope so.

my stomach was upset). I think this is an emotional thing. I read

somewhere on this forum that some people can eat the same thing over

and over again and I can't do that. If I eat it a few times and I

get nausea, that's it, I can no longer eat that dish. I can't eat it

again. For some stupid reason, I've had a huge fear of throwing up

since the 3rd grade. I do whatever it takes to not throw up. (I

know nobody LIKES to throw up, but my fear of it goes over and

I was curing my candida 20 years ago. At one point in time I could

only eat 9 foods in the whole world (everything else came back up so

I had no choice), and I was losing 3 lbs. per day (I saw my M.D.

every weekday then so I got weighed). Later I figured out the foods

that stayed down were the lowest in carbs, with 1 exception,

tomatoes. However it was interesting that I never upchucked my

supplements.

So I do " know " and understand how you feel about food because I was

scared to eat anything for fear of the horrible nausea and vomiting

that followed. Since then I've seen many other candida sufferers go

through the same thing. The emotional upset and fear surrounding

food becomes almost obsessive so a person acquires a phobia towards

eating. It is rough to be in your position my friend. On the one

hand we know we must eat, and yet eating creates such awful pain.

So how do you get past this block? There are no easy answers. I can

tell you what I did, and that may help, but it is still rough.

1. First identify foods that cause the least upset and stick to

eating them for at least 1 month. In my case they were very low-

carbs and unadulterated foods. For example, I could only eat lamb

and eggs for protein. Beef, chicken, fish, etc. came back up. I was

on welfare so I couldn't afford organic foods and lamb was, at least

at that time, the least adulterated with antibiotics, pesticides,

etc. Veggies I could eat were extremely low carb, like I said,

except for tomatoes, which didn't make sense to me but I was

grateful. The veggies I could eat were kale, mustard greens, spinach

which I had to have steamed (not raw). Also I could have butter and

sea salt, thank goodness.

2. I had to " force " myself to eat, which I did because of my will to

get well. I " had to " eat the same foods over and over, but I had no

choice - I didn't just become nauseated, foods I couldn't tolerate

came back up.

3. I was taking nystatin powder as an antifungal at the time and

increasing the doses helped, which was recommended by Dr. Crook and

other doctors at the time. With time nystatin actually settled my

stomach even between meals. I didn't know about other antifungals

then.

4. I always took hydrochloric acid and supplements with meals. I

wished I had known about sauerkraut at that time.

5. I got the biggest relief with enemas. I started with coffee and

then I alternated antifungal and probiotic enemas - they make a

tremendous difference, and my liver pain subsided after about 4

months. Enemas bypass the digestive system and there is a lot of

candida growing in the large colon which is harder to affect by

taking antifungals by mouth. Coffee, and alternating probiotic and

antifungal enemas unburdens the entire body of toxins. At the same

time I was douching (alternating probiotics & antifungals) because of

vaginal yeast, which I had had for over 25 years.

I believe some aspects of the 9-day program will help you a great

deal, and even though you experience nausea you may need to push

through it. Get prepared by making plenty of bone broths (which you

can freeze in meal-size containers) per this recipe:

Here's an alternative program, which is longer than 9 days, but also

take enough HCl digestive enzymes with all foods:

Days 1 & 2: Consume plenty of clear, meat and vegetable broths and do

not eat any solid foods. Only add salt just before eating it, do not

add it during cooking - it should be a good ocean sea salt like

Celtic (Nature's Cargo in Canada) or Himalayan which contain over 84

minerals. Enemas to do: Do a plain water enema to clean out the

bowel, and then do a coffee enema right after.

Day 3 through Day 9: Continue having broths, but also add solid

pureed foods to them - they should only be protein, good fats, and

low carbohydrate vegetables - cook and highly puree all foods in a

blender to maximize absorption, thus minimizing the food residue in

the intestines. Add pureed foods to the broth to eat them. Ground

bison or beef and fish are best because they are easier to puree.

Enemas: skip doing an enema days 3-5, and days 5 and 6 do a plain

water enema to clean out the bowel, and then do a coffee enema right

after. Days 7-9 skip doing enemas.

Day 10 through Day 14: Continue eating broths with cooked pureed

foods as described in Day 3 - 9, and gradually add more and more

solid foods each day over the next five days until you are completely

back on a solid food diet. Days 10 & 11 do a plain water enema to

clean out the bowel, and then do an antifungal enema, followed by a

probiotic enema. Skip enemas Days 13 & 14.
