I remember you posting to ask about what types of things to ask of the surgeon.... I hope it was helpful!I'll keep you in my prayers for Lap surgery rather than open -- hopefully the previous scar tissue won't be an impediment!Congrats on your date for March! And the success rate for experienced surgeons is indeed well into the 90% range, often even over 95%. I'm so happy for you.... here's hoping that the weeks fly by and it's March before you know it!Debbi Debbie, My surgrey is going to be done at the Mayo Clinic. Yes She is experienced she does around 15 to 20 a year. All she does is correct A and Acid Reflux by surgrey. The acid reflux sugrey is like A except they take the stomach complet around the E. I asked all the questions I found in arcives including the ones you sent me. It was very helpful. She says it is 90% that it works. Guest guest Posted December 20, 2004 Report Share Posted December 20, 2004 follow your heart, i have the same problem induced by lyme as far as blood pressure. how much doxy are you on? dr make me sick but only some of them,I made a stratigic move to change my meds with out the doctor because if I called in I would be dropped any way. but I did get dropped because I had alot of reactions to meds and they did not want me to call all the time, I feel as if it was not my fault because there is no patient to dr relationship, if you call in to much they say it is abusive. I dont know what they expect you to do when you cant breath from the high dose of antibiotic your taking. anyway lyme is serious and I feel some of the doctors should understand it is not that we want to call all the time it is that we feel like were going to die. it turned out that the doctor who did not call me back was the one who is the only one who can help me, my disease is autoimmune and some doctors dopnt believe that it can happen and yes it can happen, the only doctor who believes me and knows, this is the one who is not going to call you back,I guess i have to sacrifice and keep my mouth shut but I can tell you that the doctor that im talking about is way ahead of everyone else,he may not have time to call you back but he knows how to treat you,when you find the right doctor trtust in him and follow his lead, I had two dr at the same time and another would up the dose of the first one and it was hard to clarify symptoms when your meds are uped by another doctor, i guess i can end this and say thank god for llmd or we would be in trouble. eric Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
