Guest guest
*****Thanks for the headsUP.....it was me who had the question about Medicare and approval status. I was gathering from other's post that doctors were not listening to patients about their testing methods, however, ALL doctors should listen to their patients if the facility they used is medicare approved. ****Again thanks for the headsUP. BTW, do you know if these other labs folks are talking about are medicare approved?? Angel Huggzzz or Angel Oh it was you:)!! Yes, as a matter of fact, I think you should get their whole test panel to see what it says! I don't know which other labs you mean. I know Hemex is Medicare approved. I don't know about MDL - maybe someone else does.
Guest guest
I am happy to hear this because I recently had testing done by MDL and am not sure if MediCal is going to cover it or not. I certainly hope so.

Guest guest
MDL accepts private insurance, Medicare, Medicaid or you can pay privately. Guest guest
Medicare is the only insurance that Igenex will accept...all others must pay at the time of sending their specimen. Igenex will promptly send you a bill with explanations so you can submit it to your insurance company. Hopefully, you have some out-of-network benefits & may get a percentage of it back. Most out-of-network benefits include a deductible so make sure you submit the Igenex bill to your insurance so it can at least be credited to go toward that deductible. MDL does not require money up front & appears to participate with all insurance plans. I work for a LLMD & we use MDL all the time. I am not aware of a patient who has reported that the labwork was not covered or they were balance billed....that was also my own personal experience.
