Laurie-

Infrared sauna is excellent.

Leg twitching COULD be from magnesium deficiency (and I usually recommend a

good calcium/magnesium supplement that I use and it helps with insomnia as well

as twitching).

DONT anyone write me hate mail about peddling products!!! I have been on this

board for over 8yrs. and am just trying to make suggestions. If this

continues, I will not share what is working in my protocols. This is why I left

this

board over a yr ago.

Hi,

All these problems were a pain for me when I got lyme in 1993. I had to

really work on the sleep thing. Your body has a clock and when I got sleepy

like 10 or so, I put the vcr on and went to bed. If I tried to finish a program

I couldn't sleep. I did take Kava Kava, Valerian, Cat Nip.....anything I

could find to help. You might want to have him tested for Babesia.....those

sweats are awful. Slo-Mag suggested by Dr. B. helped me tremendously with the

leg

cramps and twitches. When your body has a bad infection it uses up your

magnesium really fast. I just buy it at Meijers, they have the best price.

All I can tell you is it took me 3 years to get my sleep pattern down. I

still get insomnia, but not as bad or not near as long. I even used a CD

player with super soft music and headphones. Also being treated for the Babesia

did help.

Don't give up......it will work out eventually. Take your time.....now I

use Ambien which is the only sleep med that puts you into REM sleep. But

sometimes that doesn't work. I was on Elavil, but found out it has adrenelin in

it

and would wake me up at 2am everynight. Good luck and hang in there.
