Guest guest
Freebird, I have lots of neck lumps that are tender and painful. All my lymph nodes are actually. My husband was massaging my calves the other day, and noticed several knot type cysts in them. They were pretty tender as well. I don't know if theyre related, but I go to my dr. next week and I'm going to ask. -Joleen > Hello all, > > I'm wondering how many people with Lyme disease have lots of lumps, > nodules, cysts, muscle knots, etc. in their soft tissue, which are > painful and seem to be filled with fluid or abnormally > hardened/fibrous tissue. Guest guest
I have lots of lumps in my chest, along my sternum to the base of the same. The largest is like a butter-bean and the smallest like a lentil (sorry about the food anology - we're cooking)! They're not painful unless squeezed but sometimes draw attention to themselves by reacting when touched with an 'uncomfortable' feel. Mentioned them to the doc years ago but after visiting an oncologist and being told they were just cystic lumps in the muscle and would do no harm am wondering if these are related to the borreliosis now? My latest one has appeared on my left wrist in the last few days and have had knots in the muscles at the base of my neck which may or may not be related to the doxycycline I started a few weeks back.... I have wondered for quite a long time what these " lumps " contain. At least in your case, it's spirochetes in there. I figured that would be a possibility, and it's very interesting to hear that a biopsy can really prove this! Thanks for sharing.
