Guest guest
Everything that Ali wrote applies to me.. I love the bit about forgetti ng whether you've taken the medication while the bottles in your hand. I do that all the time. I keep meaning to make a list of all the meds i have to take then tick them off but I feel too halfwitted to do this. And the nightmares are sometimes very bad, sleeping is very bad, full of pain and waking with a start with the heart pounding. Certainly when the head pain is there all the symptoms are worse. I think it is encephalopathy/meningitis. Does your daughter have light/sound sensitivity or back of the neck pain as well? When I get better all these symptoms get better.I have had partial remissions and have been able to read again. At the moment is is very difficult to read a book as by the next day I have completely forgotten what happened. I hope your daughter feels better soon. Is she having treatment? Guest guest
Pat, I had to get the pill containers and put my meds in there once a week, this way I will know if I've take it or not. My sleeping problems and nightmares sound alot like yours. I was hearing and seeing things and my psychiatrist put me on several anti-psychotics and other meds to help me sleep. The dreams are very vivid, sometimes good sometimes bad. Thanks for letting ramble on, bb [ ] Re: Nightmares and Cognitive Difficulties Carol Ali Everything that Ali wrote applies to me..
