, I know it can be discouraging when you start to feel worse, but

you have to look at it as a good sign. It means the Rocephin has reached

the lyme and they are fighting each other. Please don't seitch your meds

now.

You will feel this way for a good 2 weeks, but then you will begin to feel

better. I would have a plan in place for when you stop the Rocephin,

though.

Many people start to get worse again when stopping the meds. There are many

alternative treatments out there, you just have to do your research.

My husband and I both have heart palpitations from the Lyme. If your heart

is really beating fast, though, go to the emergency room. Just because it's

palpitating from the lyme doesn't mean it's not serious.

I know it's hard not to feel discouraged. There are days when I think I'm

going to lose it, with me being sick and having to also take care of my

Husband and daughter.

It's really challenging sometimes. Don't let it get the best of you,

though. If you feel you need it, ask your DR for an antidepressant just

until you start feeling better.

Also, look for a lyme support group in your area. It's hard when you look

healthy but feel like crap inside. People think you're just complaining.

So it's important to have a group of people that can relate to what you're

going through. Penni

When you say this, is this about the IV Rocephin or oral? I herxed almost a

year on doxycycline before I stopped. Now I am herxing on new antibiotics. I

wonder how someone could stop herxing after only 2 weeks. Maybe it is different

with IV?

Thanks

Doris
