I had a urine test for seretonin when I was hospitalized for seretonin

syndrome. But I haven't a clue what the name of it was because they never

mentioned the name.

I've done EEG tests with my bioneurofeedback therapist, but they don't

directly measure neurotransmitters, only brain wave activity, and only on

the outer levels of the brain. But for the most part, my psychiatrist and

bioneurofeedback therapist just go on the EEG readings and guesswork based

on my symptoms to try to figure out what is going on. However, I've also had

kinesiology muscle testing done by a BioSET practitioner, and had a lot of

problems with NMDA and GABA, according to the muscle testing, which I can

only assume is accurate since it does reflect my symptoms, but muscle

testing isn't exactly an accurate science.

I would love to be able to do the Kane protocol. But money is an issue for

me right now... And I also have had some concerns about the phoschol that

they use, because I have allergies to soy, which I think is the source of

the phoschol, from what I understand. I tried using lecithin a couple years

ago, which is a source of choline for the body to convert to phosphatidyl

choline, but it not only caused me to be jittery and irritable, but it

aggravated my IBS, causing diarrhea, and I eventually developed hives from

it, and had to drop it. I don't know if the problem was because it comes

from soy, or if I was having an adverse reaction to the choline in it, or if

I wasn't metabolizing it right, or what. So I have had concerns about how

phoschol might affect me. I think I would try the stuff orally before doing

IV's of it, in case I had an adverse reaction to it. I hope to eventually

try it orally, but I have to wait a few months. I doubt I could get any of

my local doctors to do the actual IV protocol that is involved with the Kane

protocol.

Yes, this is the one my doctor likes. Anyone done it? I hate to pee

away $200+ for nothing. Looks like it is urine and/or saliva.
