ANA postive and Rh positive

Do any of the list members have a positive ANA and/or a RH?

I've just been told I have both. I'm currently on amoxicillin, but am

not sure this is aggressive enough. I have a positive titre (IgG or

IgM, I can never remember)for Lyme, after having a serious bout with

it several years ago.

The Lupus specialist doesn't think it's Lupus, and drew several vials

of blood for further testing. I have little joint involvement, and

had little during my previous bout, except severe pain in my spine

and later Bell's Palsy.

I'm searching for a physician in the North East that will take a good

long look at my history and treat this Lyme thing a bit more

aggressivly than they have in the past.

Any ideas?

Craig,

Thank you for your reply. My second time with a positive titer has

been confirmed by a Western Blot. But just days prior to that I was

tested for ANA and Rheumatoid. Both were also positive.

The reason I was put on Amoxicillin is because the not so bright Dr,

several years ago, thought my hives were from a Doxycycline allergy. I

know now it was most like a Herxheimer reaction.

Whether or not this is a new exposure or the same exposure, being

improperly treated years ago, I am not sure.

So I'm still curious, has anyone else had a positive ANA titer

and/or a positive RF?

I have had a positive ANA which normalized after antibiotic treatment.
