Lyme Aid Owner ======== Barbara, If it were me, I would contact Dr. Goldings, ask her for a refer and consult...as a favor between physicians. The refer for heir piece of mind and her consult as a backup to whatever the infectious disease doc finds. Sue V. Guest guest
Barbara, I have no idea about your money situation or travel situation but all things considered I would go to San Francisco and see Dr Stricker, he is much less politically controversial than Dr B in Long Island and serves on the state medical board and works with the California Department of Health Services (CDHS) and is past president of ILADS. Guest guest
Hi Barb, I e-mailed you a while back in response to your post on another list and told you about the allergist who thought to test me for lyme early in my diagnostic quest -- probably before I'd turned seropositive. Anyway, he mentioned a friend who is an ID doc and helped a mutual friend with a weird infection. I know it's a long shot, but if you have to stay in TX and can drive to Houston, this guy may be able to turn you on to a like-minded ID doc. Good luck, Sue (I post as Sue vG on lymenet) > > > > Dear All, > > Doctor with Lyme here, being persecuted by the texas state board.. one of > the doctors said that she wants me to go to an infectious disease doctor to > get " confirmation " on the Lyme diagnosis... since the Tx state board says I > don't have it. > > Anyone know who to go to? > > thanks b > > _________________________________________________________________ > Get reliable dial-up Internet access now with our limited-time introductory > offer. http://join.msn.com/?page=dept/dialup
