Please post the following:

I am a research assistant in the Lyme Disease Research Program at Columbia

University, where Dr. Fallon is the principal investigator. As you may

know, we are conducting a chronic Lyme re-treatment study sponsored by the

National Institutes of Health. We urgently need to enroll more patients who

are IgG Western Blot positive and meet the following 4 initial criteria:

* Presence of Lyme symptoms in the past

* Treatment with at least 3 weeks of intravenous (IV) antibiotics

* Persistent cognitive symptoms, including memory problems

* Ages 18-65

We highly encourage any person who meets these 4 criteria to contact us at

CULyme@... call us at (212) 543-6510. You can find more information about

our study on our website, www.columbia-lyme.org.

I also wanted to alert you to another upcoming Lyme disease community screening

clinic we are holding at Madison, CT. Anybody who meets the criteria listed

above is eligible to participate. Please pass the word on to help us advertise.

If you would like me to e-mail you flyers, please e-mail your request to

CULyme@... with " Lyme Flyers " in the subject. Information regarding this

clinic follows:

Saturday, December 6, 2003

11am – 3pm

Office of Kornelia Keszler, M.D.

1-B Meigs Ave.
