Hi ,

I took the shots for about 21/2 years and it did help keep the

bacteria at bay, but I do not beleive that my previous LLMD was

aggressive enough with the Lyme because I have been treated for 13

years and I have never been in remission yet. This new LLMD is

really aggressive and wants it to go into remission, wish me luck

because I am now on the Doxcy , YUCK!!

Thanks,

:)

I have been on doxy for a few days. What kind of junk can I expect. I am more

tired than usual, slow and lathargic and a general feeling of anger. Is the the

doxy blues you are speaking of or can I expect more.

For those who have taken the bicillin shots, did they make a difference?

Thanks,

Hi

I was extremely ill so it took me quite a while.

i would say that i started to see small improvements after six months .

It was very gradual.. i just seemed to be able to do more as time went

on

and i would get better easings between herxing which was pretty constant

and hard

Im on clarithromycin with the bicillin at the moment and it really does

kick butt too

I guess it just depends on you. I had a bad herx reaction when I was

taking 200mg daily, so he cut me down to 100mg daily. It puts you in

a funky, I am just too sick attitude. I was dizzy and hurt more. If

you start herxing real bad, call your Dr. and see about cutting back

on the dosage. I can tell that the Doxcy is attacking the little

Buggers. It is like you can feel them dying, and the carcasses are

contaminating your body. My Dr. gave me some stuff called Bio Active

Homepathic Viscumforce, that is supposed to help with the pain and

the expultion(Not sure of the spelling) of the waste left behind when

the Lyme bacteria dies. Who knows, I think the Epsom salt soak is

probably better than anything else. Good luck to you, and I'll keep

you in my prayers, can never have enough of those!!

:)

Thanks Dona,

I started back on the bicillin today. I have just been on it about 10

weeks..I think.

Since I woke up again too hot to sleep and sweating, I think I will also

start the thyroid meds to see if that helps.

It is encouraging to hear that the bicillin helped you. Good luck on your

continued back to health trip.
