Guest guest
Hello all.... I have been lurking for awhile now. I think I introduced myself some time ago, but I don't remember for sure....I know you know how that is! Anyway, I just wanted to tell anyone who is having difficulty finding reasonably priced medical care that there are federally funded community health clinics that provide services (and sometimes medication) to low income people. My LLMD is at one of these clinics in N. California and I am so blessed to have found him. They accept both medi-cal and medi-care, as well as have a sliding fee scale. My experience with all the docs at this clinic is that they are caring people who listen, are willing to explore options, and generally are very competent practitioners who are in the profession to help people (cause they certainly aren't making the big bucks.) If you do a google search, perhaps asking for federally funded clinics in your state you should get some options as there are over 3000 of these clinics across the country. Good luck.
