Guest guest
I would ask how those natural remedies kill spirochetes and is Babisia a recketsia(sp)? Rita [ ] Dr Jernigan I have Babesia and Lyme and live in the UK. I have been put on Neuro Antitox and Borrelogen which are Dr Jernigan's natural remedies. Has anyone tried these products or been treated using Dr Jernigan's methods? Thank you Best wishes
Guest guest
Hi, my Lyme doc - Dr Andy in Bolton - has recommended Dr Jernigans's treatements for me. I have started with the first one, Neuro-Antitox and am about to add in the second one Borrelogen. I have SCOURED the web for info on Jernigan and can find virtually nothing. All links to him come up as " Page not Available " . I've searched PubMed and Medline and cannot find anything that he's published. His book on Amazon is not available/out of print. I cannot find a single copy of his book on any of 10 big second hand book search sites. Even the publisher of his book doesn't appear to exist any more. The man appears to be a veritable Houdini. I am mystified. I'm trying the medications (a mixture of herbs and homeopathic preparations) purely on the recommendation of my doctor who has spoken to him. Jernigan says that he has treated 1500 Lyme patients and has good success rates in bringing down antibody counts. But why no published evidence? Would love to talk more on this subject. By the way, Hi to you all. I'm a new member from Oxford England with SEVERE (completely disabled and half blind) Lyme. After 15 years with this illness I'm just beginning to understand what hit me all those years ago thanks to my truly outstanding doctor (Andy ) whos like a pit bull terrier once he catches a mere scent of the truth. Guest guest
Hello Marie, Donna and Nuala, Thanks for your replies. I don't know how Borrelogen kills spirochaetes, it must be plant/herbal based. Evidently he's proved it by urine antigen testing. I have found his ( and his wife's website) It is www.jnutra.com and he runs Nutrapharmaceuticals, Inc. He is not a medical doctor, more a nutrician doc I gather. There is not much on the website which is only just being set up by the look of it. There is a new book coming out. Nuala, I also live in the UK, in Hampshire, and I think we've come to Jernigan the same way. I have Lyme or possibly leptospirosis according to my microscope test. More likely to be Lyme as I've also has the Tarello test which showed Babesia and Stapphylococcus. I've been ill for years and years, diagnosed with ME 15 yrs ago, as have strangely enough, two of my children. One's improved now but the other hasn't. I also am taking these products because Dr W has been right about everything before and I am therefore trusting him on this one. But they are expensive and I don't know how long I will carry on using them. You can take them with antibiotics. I am pretty sure from all I've read thet you need antibiotics to clear them especially if you've got them in your brain. However I've also read that antibiotics don't always work either. Difficult to know what to do. Nuala, sorry you are so bad with this wretched illness. If you want to contact me by private email please do. I've got another week and 1/2 of Neuro Antitox before starting the Borrelogen. Would be interested to hear if you have any reaction to this. Best wishes to all of you on this site. - In , " nualab67 " <Harry.Bingham@b...> wrote: > Hi, my Lyme doc - Dr Andy in Bolton - has recommended Dr > Jernigans's treatements for me. YES< I did Dr. Jernigan's protocol and as a matter of fact I think I still have bottles of Virogen/Borrelogen which I would be more than happy to donate! They helped but didn't do the trick. I am now onto what does the trick!!!!!! See the attachment which is VIRUS-free. sue massie, CNHP Nature's Garden of Health 732 933-4011
Guest guest
Hello Sue Thankyou for your message. I have only been on the protocol for five weeks so it's probably a bit early to talk about improvements. In fact my legs are if anything worse, the tendons, muscles so stiff it's difficult to walk. But headaches have improved a bit. I am very interested to hear that you've used the protocol. How long did you take it for and how much improvement did you see. I am debating whether to take antibiotics as well but get the feeling from reading on the net that once you've started you have to keep on taking them. There didn't seem to be an attachment available on the message. I would appreciate you sending it to my private email patcobbett@.... Guest guest
Sue Forgot to say in previous post, yes I would appreciate any Borrelogen you have got spare, if you think they'd stand the journey. They have to be kept cool don't they. After two months on Borrelogen you have to take Microbogen foranother two months then take them both together for three months. I don't know what Virogen is. Is it another name for Microbogen? Thanks a lot Best wishes --- In , Ssadlermas@a... wrote > In a message dated 9/9/2003 3:06:46 PM Eastern Standard Time, > patcobbett@h... writes: > > > > > I have Babesia and Lyme and live in the UK.
