Can anyone help me interpret the following?

I contracted lymes over 3 years ago in Honduras. I was covered in

ticks one day and took care of a dog with ticks for over 3 weeks. I

was diagnosed back in the States 3 months later & was treated for 2

years. Never had a " positive " anything as far as lab tests. I was

Anyway, I thought myself " cured " as I was asymptomatic for over a

year. Last week the symptoms returned! Test results all normal

except for 23 IgM band was reactive. Also I have a high rheumatoid

factor of 30, norm is <14. Only other abnormalities were my

absolute monocytes: 149 (norm is 200-950), absolute eosinophils: 0

(norm is 15-500), and absolute basophils: 12 (norm is 0-200).

What does this all mean?

My doc has me on 300 mg of doxy/day. Is this enough? Other

suggestions? I have a great Nurse Practitioner who is willing to do

whatever to help me.

Also, I have continued to have spots (subcutaneous) on the heels of

both palms. My Lymes doc in Santee told me it was a reaction of my

hormones to the Lyme. Anyone else ever have this?

I'm rather depressed about going through all this AGAIN! I am

already extremely fatigued, getting foggy-brained, clumbsy, as well

as moderate to severe migrating joint pains, and muscle spasms.

UGH!

Thanks, guys!
