I know some of you are thinking ‘what now’?

Well my MP is going to hand in our petition to the House of Commons.

Whilst we have the ear of our UK Prime Minister re LDN who was ill informed about

our petition, I’d like my MP who is a whip of the Tory party and chairs

the Human Rights Commission to challenge him in the House of Commons.

We at LDNNow are putting our names to add to this list and I’d

like to ask if anyone else would like me to include their names too?

Sadly it’s only British citizens but this is what Crabb will be

handing in

To the House of Commons.

“The Petition of xx,

Declares that the Petitioners believe that the Government

should recognise the requests of patients with many serious diseases –

list here – and should cause definitive research to proceed into the use

of Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) as a safe drug therapy;

Further declares that the Petitioners believe that, when a

significant number of patients have refused the available treatment options and

chosen another option instead, this creates an imperative for any necessary

research into the treatment to be performed; that the Petitioners believe that

LDN is a low cost drug which treats a large ranges of conditions, which

otherwise require very expensive treatment protocols, that the savings

potential for the NHS is very large, and that the safety of the drug is very

attractive to people facing toxic alternatives;

Further declares that the Petitioners believe that

withholding research into LDN is a violation of the human rights of the

patients concerned who number over 7000 in the UK and over 100,000 worldwide,

and growing; and that the current system is unable to respond to this situation

and ought to be revised so that it can respond appropriately.

The Petitioners therefore request that the House of Commons

urge the Government to respond to the requests of patients and take steps to

allow research to take place into the use of Low Dose Naltrexone.

And the Petitioners remain, etc.,”

Dr Steele MBE, talking about LDN

LDNNow, a patient and friend led organisation (so not a charity)

with no funding and no affiliation to any company or organisation, but rather a

group of concerned individuals focussed on improving the health of those who

suffer from the many diseases and conditions that LDN treats.
