Guest guest Posted December 18, 2002 Report Share Posted December 18, 2002 Well, I have to report on my visit to Kaiser's infectious diseases doctor in Santa . I was told this would happen, but I refused to believe it was possible. I feel like Alice in wonderland, down the rabbit hole. I must preface all this by saying that I'm seeing a LLMD who I love and I'm getting better, but slowly on antibiotic treatment. The Kaiser doc came in guns blazing and said that everything I saw on the internet was untrue. He said that everything my doctor told me was untrue, he said that HE has never seen chronic Lyme disease, and that the people he treats get 100% cured. I showed him photos of spirchetes going into the cyst form, he said he didn't believe it, he doesn't believe in the Herxheimer response. He said the Igenex lab is disreputable and unreliable, and he did all my tests over again (actually Kaiser wouldn't order those tests in the first place so I had to pay for them myself....now he's falling over himself to do more tests) Thought you'd all be rushing out to see him, right away, since he clearly has all the answers. Thank you so much for your suppport. I'm so glad I didn't get through to this doctor right away, it would have been so detrimental to my health.
