Hi

I have Crohn's disease and started LDN 2 months ago while having a flare. I was

on 10mg of prednisone. Within a week the diarhea and nausea had stopped. The

tummy pains took about a month to settle down. I have now been able to drop my

pred to 8mg. I haven't been able to get to that low a dose for over a decade.

The LDN has exceeded my expectations.

I must add the LDN stirred up candida and I came down with severe flu-like

symptoms in the first week. I have now been on a candida diet for over a month

which has also made a big difference.

All the best....Joan

drug). I'm now reacting to Asacol, which makes it more difficult to get off

prednisone.

getting down to 10mg of prednisone, I had another flare up (definitely caused by

stress and sleep deprivation. Of course, the prednisone does *not* help with

the stress!)

experiment since I want to try it. (Yes, I have a *really* good doctor.) So I'm

holding off on the high dose prednisone for now. My doctor has never prescribed

LDN before.
