I have diabetic neuropathy.  This gives me a burning sensation in my hands and

feet.  I have read that LDN can help people with this problem. I would like to

know how it works.  Does the LDN stop the autoimmune attack on the pancreas

which results in a reduction in neuropathic pain? Or does it work directly on

the inflammed areas?

I am asking this question because I think my potential diabetic problems are of

the type 2 variety and if LDN stops the autoimmune attack on the pancreas, then

this may not be a solution for me.

I don't believe research has been done explaining how this works.JackieFrom: MacGilchrist <s.macgilxrist@...>Subject: [low dose naltrexone] ? about peripheral neuropathy and diabeteslow dose naltrexone Date: Saturday, May 15, 2010, 5:54 AMI have diabetic neuropathy.
