hey group really need advice. i saw mark was getting sicker and could see he was

going to have to get admitted to hospital if thigs did not change. so i toookhim

off his ldn jut in case they gave him meds that did not agree with him, as it

stood he did drop his o2 to 85 and heart rate jumped to 138 time to call 911. he

was amitted put on the vent

and then they dd not wean him off fst enough so he was sent to an lac where they

proceded to take their time and thus was trached. after 6 weeks still had a

trache and it was obvious they had milked the insurnce for what they could and

were sending him home in a couple of weeks still with his trache. they knew all

th had was 6 weeks and though i kept on them they proceded to ignore me.I ended

up tellng them they had better have him ready for home in 6 days with or without

trache. told them it would now be my job to do what a whole staff could not and

would not do..

now hes home i have learned the care of the trachea and now i have tube and this

to deal with. He seems ok but still full of mucus so i still am not sleepng

more then 2 hrs at a time at best.

i want to get him back on vitamins and ldn and possibly blended soft food for

this tube feeding but i need to know what your take on which i should start

first? vitamins, foods that dont produce mucus or ldn?

he was off all thes meds and vitamins for 2 months but ws douced with

antibiotics all day and night for 7 weeks. He battled innfction and infection

while there of course. so could you guys help with your thoughts.

thanks
