Guest guest
Zahavi :- My wife is suffering from MS. Her first symptom was numbness in two fingers of her left hand which we thoght was due to winter (it started in December 2009). Slowly it became tolerable with slight uneasiness but nothing much. Life continued. Then on 8th of March, she found that vision of her left eye had become totally blurred. She could read only the first line at the Opthalmologist clinic. He diagnosed Optic Neuritis and started light steroid, oral and eye drops. Then, when there was no improvement we went for Neuro-physician and MRI was done. She was diagnosed with MS. Full treatment of MS was started with injectible Steroid, Solu-Medrol, for five days, followed by tapering off for three weeks with vitamins, calcium etc. But there is no improvement. Now she is on Elkar - 0.5mg (Levacecamine Hydrochloride Tablets) and Macalvit (Calcium with Vitamin D). Still no improvement. Meanwhile I have been reading all the e-mails on LDN and also got it from a fine person, himself suffering from MS. But, our Neuro-phsician was dead against trying anything fancy which is not taught while doing medicine. So I waited and wiated. But then finally I decided to go for LDN. Now it is four days I am giving my wife about a dose of 0.75 ml of water with naltrexone dissolved in it. While all other drugs are also being continued. She also has slightly high blood pressure, for this she takes one tablet of Cardace-5 every night. Wife is complaining of some pain in her legs below knees and also swelling. Does it relate to LDN or it is something else. Do I need to change other medicines she is taking. Please advice. Still there is no improvement in her left eye vision.
