Guest guest
It has become apparent to me that dr. zagon did the basic research re LDN and it was applied by dr bihari with patients. however, there are very diverse views regarding the appropriate use of LDN and the reasons for failure. in essence, dr zagon believes that very often much less LDN is needed to stimulate a rebound helpful endorphin response and that 3mg should be starting dose and many require every other day or every third day dosing as the LDN blockade is often too long at higher dosing and with every day dosing. dr. zagon feels that the favorable response should come rather quickly in a matter of days if the dosing is appropriate and the person is a responder. i believe dr. bihari felt it took over six weeks for the ldn to work.it appears that we are a bit in the dark then about this and theories about gluten, candida, etc are of course merely conjecture. it is good that some basic research with placebo controlled groups is now occuring.
