Guest guest
Hi Roseann,I have SPMS, started in June with only 1 mg to curtail side effects, like increased spasticity; next month 2 mg; then 3 and now I've been on 4.5 (from Skips) since December. I have seen no alleviation of symptoms. I'm not sure if progression has stopped. Recently I've fallen twice, hitting my head both times, My life is very confined using a cane, and more commonly a walker. My diet is pretty good and I take supplements for candida. ly, I hope there's something else out there that can better help me. Guest guest
Hello Rose , In answer to your post, I started LDN 2006 (@ 3 mg). Do not recall exact date. I can find date, if that is important to you. Before starting LDN, my main symptoms at that time were double vision, leg weakness, had to walk with a walker, & used a scooter for extended walking needs. Noticed improvement in double vision within the first week. Sorry, but since I don't keep a journal, I believe it was within months that improvements gradually revealed themselves in those other symptoms. For an absolute fact, before 2008 rolled in, my double vision was completely gone so no need for prism glasses anymore, still use readers for reading, as is normal for folks in their 50's. Haven't needed to use my walker or scooter for what feels like a long time. Currently use a tall walking cane (like the kind folks use for hiking). Don't use it all the time, just when away from home. My reason for that, is for "confidence" since I still have some lingering mild balance issues and a limp. Improvements seem to have come to a standstill, so I'm not sure if an increase in the LDN dose is in order. Hope this info is helpful. Gloria Gay Atchison gloriagay@...
