has helped those with Crohns disease. I just started taking Apriso/mesalamine

and the gastro wants to start me on either Remicade or Humira which both scare

me to death. I came across the trials of LDN conducted at Penn State and am very

curious of the findings!! I called 4 dr. including my own on Fri. and asked if

they were using LDN for treatment and they all acted totally disinterested in

even researching it. I also calle dthe pharmacy that is known for their

compounding and the pharmacist said he was compounding 4.5 mg as we spoke. I do

known someone locally is prescribing it but I seem to be " striking out " . I am so

frustrated!!! Thanks.

Hi

I also have Crohns and take LDN. Most of my symptoms were gone in about one week, in 3 weeks blood work showed CRP marker went down from 22 to 11. Really good number for me , it had never been below 20 since I was diagnosed, even on strong meds. LDN really works for Crohns, please do not start Humira or Ramicaide before you try LDN. Did you try to get the name of the doctor from the pharmacist you talked to? He must know who prescribes it since he filled prescriptions for it before. As long as he does not tell you the name of the patient using it he does not really violates privacy low and may agree to refer you to somebody if you ask. It does not have to be GI, I got my script from primary care doctor, she is more open minded than my GI. If it does not work Crystal keeps the list of prescribing doctors. Or ,if you can not find a doctor, you can buy 50 mg tablets

from India without prescription and make liquid formulation yourself. Good luck.
