This will ensure that the LDN is in the system during peak endorphin production time of between 2am and 4am(the most endorphins are produced during this time and it is very important to take advantage of this to stop disease progression). Never give LDN twice within 24 hours. Read the LDN website and read the Further Q and A page while there, it's an important page and understanding how LDN works and why we take LDN in this manner is vital. I have also incorporated a melatonin supplement and ear plugs into my routine which helps better than benadryl, ambien, etc etc ever did for me. It is also good to get at the root of your insomnia if you can. I did the whole sleep study routine - ruled out apnea and restless leg. I got lessons on sleep hygeine - for real - did biofeedback and assorted other things including of course drugs. What I have found in the 6 weeks I have been on the LDN (plus the melatonin - but I was taking the melatonin pre LDN) - I am sleeping better than I can ever recall sleeping. And of course that alone is a HUGE health benefit. Some people find they continue to have trouble taking it at night. There are folks here who take it in the morning, and believe it works just as well. Some just had to go through an adjustment phase. Sounds like your insomnia is already pretty significant. I find it difficult to believe this could make it worse than you are describing. But you won't know either way until you try it. I still think evening dosing makes the most sense - but for some morning is the only option that really works. I am at work right now and cannot look up the board thread. Maybe someone else has that handy?
