Guest guest
I appreciate everyone's comments about their assessment of this negative article. I, too, was discouraged by the tone and wondered which pharma the author might be working for ... or if he was a member of a skeptics organization are who out to debunk almost anything if it is not scientifically proven to be true before being accepted. That attitude puts everything in too small of a box and therefore, no room for possibilities or wonder and stymies creative thinking and actions. All new territory and breakthroughs come because people are willing to step out beyond the established borders and boundaries. If there was a danger involved in some way then more caution needs to brought into the picture. But when people have conditions where the drugs prescribed causes many side effects without really helping, we all need to be looking in new directions. If LDN can stop the progressi on of autoimmune diseases for even some of us .... Hurray!! And for those not responding to LDN with the desired outcome ... the need to explore even further as to what the hitch may be. The beauty of these groups is everyone trying to help each other, a grand contribution to our betterment. Everyone out here using LDN is breaking new ground. Thanks to all of you!!!! Guest guest
Unfortunately, this author is part of the Skeptics organization. The only things Skeptics will support are hard science and will tear apart or ridicule any comments that doesn't fit their model. If a statement has a hint of emotion it will be attacked. Most of them fall into the category of fundamentalist science proponents. Their goal is to attack and bring down with arrogance, anything that is not backed up with hard scientific study, including any philosophy, religion or belief in God. They consider themselves to be critical thinkers. That has very good points but other "opinions or experiences without evidence based data" will not be respected. This organization is world wide and fervent. Unfortunately, I have had personal experience with a member of this organization, which I will not go into here. Individuals on these LDN sites will have to de cide how involved one wants to be and if they want to be subjected to the rants that most likely will follow most commentary. I do not know if there is any way to reason with them. I saw some good posts by members of these groups. It will be interesting to see the responses. Sometimes the most assertive thing one can do is walk away and not allow oneself to get hooked or feed into it. I don't have a good suggestion, but I do see the pattern.
