I really don't think they will laugh at you, and who cares if they do? Just explain the situation to them, it makes sense for you to be concerned...especially if you are immunosupressed! Guest guest
, the problem that I have, at least, in our local area, is that the labs will not process a request unless you have a diagnosis code or a physician's order. You cannot go in and ask for a test. They won't do it. So, there is no way that I can obtain any sort of test without a doctor's order...and right now, no doctor thinks it is bad enough to worry about. If I get sick, then they will have to test me....I just pray that I don't get it. I have had an horrific headache today that has not gone away at all. My throat is hurting....time will tell, but it does not seem that I will get this. debby [ ] Re: MRSA > My mom's oncologist said I could maybe have a throat culture and I >could go down and ask for it. Guest guest
Iodine kills staph... Topical, via IV, and/or as a vapor - it works very well. It's an atrocity that it's not being used on MRSA. Sam :-o > > Just got this article mailed to me today....thought since we are on the topic. Guest guest
Thanks for sharing this. Controversial but appreciated. I am big fan of Bob Beck. I think he was on to something. Guest guest
And if the government of Ethiopia gets a zillion of these quack units they'll still need something cheap and effective. Or at least effective. Some people couldn't recognized snake oil even if they personally saw it being squeezed from the snake! Guest guest
, sorry to hear about your dad. MRSA is so scary. I've become sort of paranoid about it. I was always so lazy about washing scratches and cuts. Now I do it immediately and cover with a band-aid. MRSA can live on anything I've read. Now whenever I take my kids to the playground I make sure to bring wipes to wash them down after they are done playing. & <silverpen_2004@...> wrote: My dad is a healthy guy who hasn't been around hospitals.. Guest guest
, I don't know if this will help at all, but we order olive leaf extract from a company called Seagate. so, now I " m on their mailing list and one of the recent brochures they sent me had to do with their Olive Leaf Nasal Spray being used to kill MRSA. I think it's still in the early stages of testing, and I couldn't find anything on their website, but the website is www.seagateproducts.com. and the phone number is 1-888-505-GATE. Good Luck! I cringe because I know there is a natural way to heal this situation. I mean my throat hurt like nobody's business and I've been doing this stuff for quite some time now. I know how to heal myself. It's the big bacteria that I need to figure out. > > The doctor said that if it doesn't heal by thursday, they are going to do surgery to check the bone out. If the infection has gone to the bone, then they need to do two months worth of intravenous Vanc stuff. I interjected and asked him about the holistic method of healing -- he said he was not qualified to handle natural stuff. I want to find out as much as I can, print it off and show him. > > Any information on what to do would be great. > > Thanks, > > > > ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ > Never miss a thing. Guest guest
, Have they talked about doing hyperbaric oxygen therapy? You really want to PREVENT the infection from reaching the bone. It might be something to ask about or look into yourself. Kathy RN
Guest guest
IV vitamin C (sodium ascorbate) at a rate greater than say 50 grams per 24 hours for 36 hours will very likely destroy this nasty staph infection. UVB will also probably wipe it out as well (Ultra Violet Blood Irridiation) UVB aka UVIB was perfected around 1940 at the Hahannamann Hospital in Phily by a layman named Emmitt Knott. It is very powerful and has the potential to wipe out most antibiotics. Read about Dr. Klenner's success with vitamin C: http://alternativemedicinetruth.blogspot.com/2005_09_01_archive.html

Maybe someone here could answer..Thanks Howdy all....I have been on LDN for 5 months now for my Fibro and several other issues I have going on. Never felt better. Today, my physician told me that I tested positive for MRSA....so now I am a MRSA carrier. Will LDN help with this? It hasn't been the best of days and I am looking for something positive. Guest guest
> > Hi Bee and group, > My girlfriends best friend was 8 1/2 months pregnant and she went to the hostbital for a check up. She started having breathing problems and then she died. They were able to save the baby but not the mother. +++Hi Matt. That is very sad the mother didn't survive. > The mother was from the philipines and had no family here so we decided to adopt the baby boy. The nurse said he was healty but has MRSA and was given antibiotics to treat him. Now he is home with us and the hostbital said he is ok. > I'm confused because I thought MRSA was very hard to cure, the baby seems ok and I'm just concerned about this. We have to feed him fourmula too. Should I but Coconut oil and butter in his formula? +++MRSA is a bacteria, and like any other bacteria it cannot be cured by " trying to " kill them off with antibiotics. Antibiotics are toxins that our bodies must work hard at cleaning up, so they acually make bacteria change into a fungus/candida. But doctors don't recognize candida, yet claim they cured the bacteria. Duh? +++Candida eats/feeds off of toxins, sugars, starches, high-carb, etc. as you know. When we consume toxins like antibiotics our bodies have to defend themselves by evolving bacteria into candida/fungus which eats toxins so they will have less impact on health. +++So your baby would have candida/fungus. You shouldn't feed him any baby formulas on the market since they are mostly made from soy, and soy is very damaging, particularly to the thyroid. +++He needs to have a good formula like Goat's Milk, which is available at most health stores. Be careful about giving him coconut oil and butter since they will cause more healing reactions; start with small amounts like 1/4 teaspoon a couple of times a day - don't put it in the Goat's milk since it is an oil which is hard to mix and may clog up the nipple; just give it to him on a spoon when he has a bottle. >Because my immune system is weaked from candida should I be concerned or just stick to Bee's program and eat healthy. +++Just stick to my program. I hope that helps. Bee
