Guest guest
RE: Does LDN reduce or raise histamine levels? Would it interfere with benadryl, allegra, hydroxy hcl 25, or any other anti-histamines? Supposedly LDN would assist in inflammation problems concurrent with elevated histamine by altering Th1 (which produces inflammation) to TH2 (which is non-inflammatory)... but then that is addressing (treating) a "SYMPTOM" of both histamine causation and the results of elevated histamine levels... AND Does NOT answer the "real" question of whether or not LDN raises Histamine secretion levels, lowers Histamine secretion levels or has "no effect" on Histamine secretion levels. And I doubt if anyone here of even "Skip the Pharm" knows the answer to that one (as I have been researching it in depth also). Someone like Dr. Bernard Bihari or other high level LDN specialist professional medical people might know the answer to that question. If you locate an email address or contact information for any such individual, please pass on to me as I would like to know the following: (A) Does LDN cause cortisol secretion to be lowered, or raised or have no effect on cortisol secretions. ( Since one should not take LDN if one prednisone, cortisone, hydrocortisone, etc, - if one's body in naturally (or should it be "unnaturally"?) producing elevated levels of cortisol, is taking LDN a waste of time? Good luck -- and thanks. -- If you forward this correspondence, PLEASE delete ("cut") the forwarding history which includes my email address. Also use the "BCC" feature when addressing emails - unless it is ONLY to me so that the email message does NOT display everyone else's email address. It is simply a COMMON COURTESY to me and to all others who may not wish to have their email addresses sent all over the world. Deleting the history and using the BCC feature also helps prevent Spammers from mining addresses and also prevents viruses from being propagated. Thank you!
