Hello to all,

What an amazing site with such wonderful support and info. I have been

following your posts for 4 days. I have my first appointment on Thurs with a

doc in SW WI who has worked with LDN for several years. I live 5 hours away.

Found his name on one of the websites. I just learned about LDN about 3 weeks

ago from a Mercola site a friend sent to me, and since, have been researching

everything I can find on the Internet and through 3 LDN Y-groups. Hx: 15 yrs

diag. fibro, 2 yrs adrenal insufficiency, 2 yrs AI Hashimotos, 2 yrs silent

celiac disease (no gut symptoms), and now RA. I think this all started with

celiac disease as I have not been well (major fatigue) for at least 30 years.

Not good. Have sought medical help with family practitioner who has supported

all that I have wanted to do. Have not taken any strong drugs, few

prescriptions, Armour Tyroid, but tons of supplements and body work, energy

healing with the help of well trained folks to keep me going. Serious morning

fatigue and fog continues. Hard time sleeping. Not too much pain if I keep to

this regimen, but muscles still cramp up. Plenty of Mg and Ca. Timing is good

for LDN... hopefully.

In the last two years what I have found for sure, is I cannot eat any gluten,

dairy, soy, celery, cinnamon and black peppers. Gluten causes major fatigue,

dairy causes lactic acid build up. One PT thought dairy causes tendons and

ligament to swell (allergic type rxn) and lymph cannot drain away normally, esp

at night. AM hot baths for years have helped, plus exercise, hot therapy pool,

etc. Soy and celery causes me to have great pain in hands, arms, legs and feet,

esp. Cinnamon and peppers sets up a rash on my back esp. Fairly serious adrenal

insufficiency was picked up through saliva testing. I am using Dr

's adrenal protocol. All helps and makes a difference, but not enough.

Having a hard time managing daily. Also had an x-ray of one wrist that was

painful 5 weeks ago. Ortho Doc looked at x-ray and asked when was I diagnosed

with RA. News to me. Followed up. RF slightly above normal, CCP AB was over

2Xs " strongly pos " value. Mayo web site recommends CCP AB testing for RA. I

just picked up results for my thryoperox AB test and is now nearly double from 2

years ago ... 15 times above upper limits for normal. Ultrasound of thyroid 2

years ago showed abnormalities, but no cancer.

I am hoping LDN will make a big difference in dealing with all these Autoimmune

conditions. Thanks everyone, for all of your posts and references. I have

followed up on all that pertains to me. I will keep you posted and if I need

help with glitches, I will contact this community! If anyone has anything to

add, it will be appreciated. At some point I will have a few comments or follow

up suggestions for others, but not now. What ever I offer can be accepted or

rejected, not attached in any way.

Blessings,
