Guest guest
Poor you. I know what its like to feel yourself getting worse and being so uncertain what to do. I suggest you consider lowering yuour dose way down. It would also be worth going on the veryloiwdose group and asking there. Many including me cannot get anywhere near even 3mg without serious persistent worsening of symptoms. Ive been balancing doseage for over a year and now sit quite well at 2mg but for a long time I had to stay down at .5 and 1mg. There is alkways trial and error. Going off, not going off, am confused... I've been on LDN now for about 2 months. Because of a goof up at the doc's office, I'm still on 4mgs, and have seen some improvement, but I definitely still have issues. Lately, the joint pain has gotten worse (I have autoimmune issues like Lupus, Sjogren's and Graves') and I worried I might be flaring again. I have tried to be so good at taking my doses at the same time each night but may have missed one - I'm not sure. Anyway, I suddenly got horribly ill. The pain and Migraine issues I have almost constantly now, got very, very bad. I went off the LDN in case I needed an ER run and pain meds. I didn't really know what else I should do as I was in fairly serious shape. This has lasted now about a week. I haven't had to resort to opioids yet, but I really am teetering at the brink right now. This severe Migraine has gone on for about 8 days so far. What does everybody here do when faced with something like a surgery or injury etc when opioids are the only thing that is going to make your life liveable until you get thru it? I'm going to start back up again tonight, but am also now concerned maybe I should titrate back up again? I had very few problems the first time up (exacerbation of Raynaud's and pain and some dreaming), but don't want to get any worse at this point. I'm honestly not sure I could handle anything more... Thanks for your help. Ellen S
