As you wrote correctly Cytoxan is usually used to induce remission , people normally do not get it long term. Once your dad is in remission, probably doctors will stop Cytoxan and will start tapering down steroids. Then it would be a good time to start LDN. Cytoxan should not be used with LDN, because LDN can make it less effective, but lower doses of steroids with LDN are OK. Since your dad is responding to treatment well, I would not attempt to stop it now. As you correctly mentioned CAPS is a serious condition and sooner it is under control, better. Once in remission, LDN can help prevent it from relapsing.
