hi all

i am forwarding this reply i recieved. the text should provide all

pertinent information.

i am really considering buying a portable hyperbaric. i already have

a simple portable

oxygen set up. the portable hyperbaric pump pushes ambient air into

chamber to create

higher pressure. than you breathe oxygen through mask to saturate your blood.

the higher pressure allows oxygen to permeate more of your body. that

is the theory.

the cheapest i have found so far is " solace 2 " . this chamber makes no

mention of oxygen

mask, but mentions " pass thru " to chamber for therapists which i

assume currently

could mean coupling for oxygen mask. have to talk to them. this is

probably a touchy

subject as oxygen concentrating in chamber would be an issue as far as fire.

so the oxygen level in chamber needs to stay below some level. tricky

subject, but

it seems one would want to breath oxygen at times in such a chamber for it's

therapeutic and antimicrobial effect on anerobic bacteria.
